What is Sygmalift?
SygmaLift uses a combination therapy – High Intensity Focal Ultrasound(HIFU) for facial re-modelling and lifting, Tri-focal targets mainly on the eyes, forehead and mouth. It is also an effective non-invasive method for the stimulation of bioactivity, and Cold Laser 635 nm for bio-stimulation and enhancing skin glow.
The High Intensity Focal Ultrasound(HIFU) is in fractionated mode to help lift and remodel the face shape into a slimmer, V shaped face. Due to the high energy emitted by the ultrasound lasers, it can also be used to melt unwanted facial fats and submental fats (double chin). This treatment can be used across a wide range of patients: for older patients who have sagging skin and are considering a non-surgical face lift or younger patients looking for to their lift cheeks and jawline, resulting in a sharper and more defined lower face.
Unlike older traditional HIFU devices, Sygmalift has no downtime, is non-invasive and painless.
How is Sygmalift different from other HIFU treatments?
Sygmalift is a device which deliver the desired results in a cost-effective manner – it is pain free (no need for painkillers or anesthesia) as compared to other traditional HIFU machines which uses very focused large beams that penetrate at precise depths in the skin causing a greater amount of pain during the treatment. This device deposits ultrasound energy in focal lines instead of focal points which target a larger surface area, resulting in a more efficient treatment. The main advantage is its versatility, allowing us to perform facial re-modeling, lifting and skin rejuvenation.
How many treatment sessions does one need and can results be seen after one treatment?
One treatment per week, for 3-6 weeks, depending on patient’s age and skin condition. From my experience, patients can see immediate visible skin tightening and lifting after just one treatment and progressively within 40 days as the skin continues to generate collagen. It is recommended to repeat this treatment every 6 to 9 months.
Is there any downtime?
This is a procedure that has absolutely no pain and no downtime. It is a lunch-time procedure, allowing patients to return to their normal activities immediately after treatment. The treatment usually takes 1 hour, depending on the areas treated.
Is there any pain?
The treatment usually takes 1 hour, depending on the areas treated. Patients find the experience very comfortable, often patients are induced to sleep from the soft beeping sound that emits from the device.
